Colorado is home to thousands and thousands of little scenes that just make me so happy to call this place home. Aspen trees seem to have a special personality, and are waving the viewer into a little gathering here. I first stumbled upon this grove in late September and decided, while noting the light would be perfect for portraying this lively bunch of trees in mid-afternoon, to return once the trees were putting on their autumnal display. I carefully mapped the spot and came back a couple of weeks later, amazed to find these Aspens beckoning me to join them in this amazing scene.
