Augmented by generous snowmelt and a splendid chain of spring showers, this year’s Colorado wildflower display is not one to miss. I found this collection exploring a Jeep road in northern Summit County one morning, and knew I’d be returning later to catch this shot. Nature collectively seems to be taking a breath of fresh air in this scene, and this image will serve as a lifelong reminder of the freshness of that moment.
